I'm Dr. Christine Cosby-Gaither — the Survivor Impact Strategist.

I specialize in helping people who have survived the unthinkable reclaim their power, rebuild their lives, and create impact that lasts.

In 2019, after surviving a life-changing stroke, I discovered something deeper: survival is just the beginning. Whether you’ve endured a major health crisis, heartbreak, loss, career devastation, or any life-altering event, the real transformation happens when you decide that survival alone isn't enough. You’re ready to thrive, to lead, and to live with purpose.

As a strategist, speaker, and coach, I guide survivors through the next chapter of their journey. I help you move from feeling stuck or uncertain to stepping confidently into a life that honors your story, magnifies your strength, and expands your influence.

Through my work, from trauma-informed coaching programs and signature talks to bestselling books and community initiatives, I equip survivors with the mindset, strategies, and systems needed to rebuild not just a life, but a legacy.

Today, I lead as the Founder and Executive Director of A Stroke of Grace, a national nonprofit serving Black stroke survivors and caregivers, and as the Director of Black Health Equity at Simmons College of Kentucky. I am also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, where sisterhood, service, and social action remain pillars of my life and leadership.
